Levingston’s Electrical Department routinely provides the following services in accordance with industry and client specific engineering standards for the reliability improvement and expansion of Electrical Systems up to 15kV:
- Project scope development including Electrical Equipment Lists, Oneline Diagrams and Load Calculations.
- Substation Design.
- Power Distribution Center (PDC) design.
- Electrical System Studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Relay Coordination, Motor Starting and Arc Flash Analysis using SKM or ETAP software.
- Arc Flash Mitigation solutions.
- Hazardous Electrical Area evaluations per API RP500 and NFPA 497.
- Low and medium voltage variable frequency drives, vibration monitors and solid state soft starters.
- UPS, Lighting, Cable Tray, Grounding and Special Systems (commercial fire, access).
- Security Surveillance/Access Systems, Network Infrastructure.
- Development of Class-2 Total Installed Cost Estimates (+/- 10%).
- Development of electrical equipment specifications, procurement document packages, and bid tabulations.
- Development of electrical construction bid packages including scope of supply documents.
- Development of detailed construction packages including scope of work documents.
- Construction and commissioning support including Protective Relay and Variable Frequency Drive configuration.
