Levingston’s Electrical Department routinely provides the following services in accordance with industry and client specific engineering standards for the reliability improvement and expansion of Electrical Systems up to 15kV:

  • Project scope development including Electrical Equipment Lists, Oneline Diagrams and Load Calculations.
  • Substation Design.
  • Power Distribution Center (PDC) design.
  • Electrical System Studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Relay Coordination, Motor Starting and Arc Flash Analysis using SKM or ETAP software.
  • Arc Flash Mitigation solutions.
  • Hazardous Electrical Area evaluations per API RP500 and NFPA 497.
  • Low and medium voltage variable frequency drives, vibration monitors and solid state soft starters.
  • UPS, Lighting, Cable Tray, Grounding and Special Systems (commercial fire, access).
  • Security Surveillance/Access Systems, Network Infrastructure.
  • Development of Class-2 Total Installed Cost Estimates (+/- 10%).
  • Development of electrical equipment specifications, procurement document packages, and bid tabulations.
  • Development of electrical construction bid packages including scope of supply documents.
  • Development of detailed construction packages including scope of work documents.
  • Construction and commissioning support including Protective Relay and Variable Frequency Drive configuration.
